Part D, Low income subsidy/extra help
The Low-Income Subsidy (LIS) helps individuals with Medicare pay for prescription drugs and lowers the costs of Medicare prescription drug coverage. We will be discussing various topics such as who can apply for LIS, the 4 major groups of people dealing with LIS, helping your clients understand and keep their LIS benefits. Eligible beneficiaries who have limited income may qualify for this government program that helps pay for Medicare Part D prescription drug costs. Medicare beneficiaries receiving the low-income subsidy (LIS) get assistance in paying for their Part D monthly premium, annual deductible, coinsurance, and copayments. Join us to learn how this program can open a special enrollment period (SEP) and increase your book of business after the annual enrollment period has ended.

Part D prescription drug training
Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage, or Part D, is a drug plan that adds coverage to Original Medicare or Medicare Supplemental plans. Medicare Part D plans are provided by private health insurance companies that have been approved by Medicare. It is a federal program enacted in order to subsidize prescription drugs for Medicare beneficiaries. Medicare savings plan training
Your client can get help from your state paying your Medicare premiums. In some cases, Medicare Savings Programs may also pay Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments if your client meets certain conditions. The following topics will be covered.
